Can I use the site if I am not a student or staff member?
Yes, the site is accessible by anyone who has access to the World Wide Web.
Is it possible to browse the system?
Certainly. The site is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, if you wish to purchase something you will need to register with us using your e-mail address and choosing your own exclusive password.
How do I get confirmation of my order?
When you buy items from the store you will automatically receive a confirmation e-mail to the address you supplied in your registration. This will show what items you have ordered and how much you have paid. Please note that the purchase confirmation/receipt is sent upon completion of your order. If you have not received it there is most likely one of two reasons:
- you have not completed payment for your item;
- you may have mistyped your email address.
How long will I have to wait for my goods?
Once you have ordered goods that include delivery and have paid, your goods details will be passed to the relevant department for delivery to be arranged to your registered address. It is therefore vital that your address is current and correct. Arrangements must be made to accept delivery otherwise goods may be returned to us. Some items may take longer than the standard delivery time (for example: degree certificates) but the delivery time will be specified within the product details.
The standard delivery times are as follows: UK (7-10 working days), EU (14-16 working days), RoW (28 working days). However, degree transcripts and certificates may take a little longer due to verification. Please see the Help Topic on University closures for guidance on the dates when the University is closed. Therefore delivery of items during these dates may be affected but will be sent out as soon as possible when the University re-opens.
Please also note that orders with multiple items may have products that are coming from different sections of the University. Therefore you may well have more than one parcel delivered, so please wait a few days before getting in touch after receipt of your first item.
Is there a limit to what I can by from the Online Store?
Limitations only extend to the availability of stock or services offered. In certain cases there may be limits per customer but you will be made aware of these when choosing your goods.
I want to buy something online but it won’t work.
If you are struggling to buy something online please get in touch with the Store Manager on 01509 225961 or alternatively email email@example.com. We can manually input your request to the system. However, you will need to have the relevant payment details to hand.
What can I do if I have made a mistake but have completed the transaction?
Should you have a problem after completion of your purchase you would need to contact either the contact address provided on the product or event, or the online store. You can reach the online store at firstname.lastname@example.org or +44 1509 225961.
How quickly will I get a refund?
Once a refund has been processed it will take several days to appear on your card statement. Refunds will only be made to the card used for the original transaction. If you have not received it after a couple of weeks then please let us know.
